What's with the levels of Reiki?

In short, there are FOUR levels of Reiki for those keen to learn it. The basic level starts at Level 1, at which everyone can be attuned to the energy and with practice, one can not only start your own healing journey but also share your energy with others (people and pets, crystals and plants). The attunement lasts a LIFETIME and it will not close even if one doesn't practise frequently. Of course, the more your practise, the stronger will be your sensitivity to energy and the more you will benefit from it. Reiki at Level 1 is suitable for all ages - from babies to elderly. Those younger ones are extremely sensitive to energy, so they will really benefit from Reiki energy. My teenager kids are still receiving Reiki from me whenever they need it.

Why the need to learn Reiki?

The key purpose of taking Reiki training is to raise the awareness of the authentic Reiki – The Universal Life healing Energy – and the benefits of integrating it into everyday life – starting at work, through home, in one’s everyday. To bring about self-healing for yourself and when you are ready, share the energy with others.

Moving on to Level 2, this stage is given to students who have been practising Reiki on a fairly regular basis and who want to advance further on the Reiki path. At this level, Reiki symbols are imparted to the learning ones, to bring about new realities. With the use of the symbols, a multitude of possibilities arises, listed below are a few of them :

• Your healing power in increased;

• Your Reiki experience and healing is deepened;

• Your touch becomes faster and more powerful;

• You learn to do distance healing, meaning you can treat someone anytime even if you are physically not together, nor in the same timezone;

• You can heal past, present and future;

• You further develop your intuition and creativity;

• You can send Reiki to manifest your dreams and wishes;

• You continue in your Reiki journey to experience spiritual transformation.

Many students take up Levels 1 and 2, as they find it suit their needs at their stage of life. Some of them find that they needed something deeper and they continue with Level 3.

Reiki Level 3 completes your transformation journey with Reiki (though the journey will continue as long as your practise Reiki, especially if you have not found your true purpose on earth). Learning level 3 represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice. This level relates to self mastery which places you in control of your life. You create the life you desire through your thoughts, intentions, choices and actions. At this level, many receive the Master attunement with the corresponding symbol, yet don't feel comfortable to teach and properly attuning others. Thus, the distinction between Level 3 and Level 4 - Level 4 is only for those who are keen to be Reiki Teacher to spread Reiki at source, to give access to others to experience Reiki.
